On Friday June 28th, Oceana’s No Limit faced off with Rico Black’s Tuff E Nuff at the Bird’s Isle in Belize City. As the competition enters the finals Tuff E Nuff is eager to claim a second consecutive championship title. The two teams battled out on the court, both eager to claim game 2. The teams played aggressively laying up baskets after baskets, but is was Tuff E Nuff who managed to maintain a substantial lead throughout the night, with some impressive numbers being added to the score board by jersey #8, Ashton Edwards.
No Limit, put up a strong defence but by the end of the night it was Tuff E Nuff who claimed victory of game 2, defeating Oceana’s No Limit 100-88.
Game 3 will be played on Friday, July 5th at the Bird’s Isle. If Tuff E Nuff can manage to win game 3, they will be the Interoffice Basketball League champions for the second consecutive year. The finals however have 3 more games to go if Oceana wins on Friday night.
