No foul play suspected in ‘Sudden Death’

On Monday, June 6th, the San Pedro Police Department were called to the southern area of Ambergris Caye where they discovered the lifeless body of a 66 year old American male floating near the beach. The deceased was later identified as Robert Bruce Frith, originally from California, USA. The incident occurred about two and half miles south of San Pedro Town in the Mosquito Coast area.Man drowns on South Ambergris Caye-1
According to official reports from the police, the deceased suffered from epilepsy, and upon inspecting the body, officers found no signs of injuries or violence. As a result, no foul play was suspected. A post mortem of the body was done on Wednesday, June 8th at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City. According to the results of the examination, the cause of death was ‘drowning incidental’.
