Seven of the eight beautiful Reina de la Costa Maya contestants were officially introduced at Fido’s Courtyard during an official sashing ceremony held on Thursday, July 277th. Miss Belize Michelle Nuñez, Miss Costa Rica Glennys Medina Segura, Miss El Salvador Iris Yazmin Guerra, Miss Guatemala Lesly Fernanda Flores Sagastume, Miss Mexico Ximena Cardoso Gutierrez, Miss Nicaragua Danielle Nicole Hodgson Joseph and Miss Panama Maria Fernanda Jaspe were hosted to a delicious dinner courtesy of Fido’s, after which they introduced themselves and received their official sash from Manager Brian Cook.

Both visitors and locals alike had the opportunity to meet the delegates and take pictures with them. The beauties were happy to pose, saying how thrilled they were to be in Belize. They enjoyed some live music, dancing for a while before retiring to their room to rest before another action-packed day. Miss Honduras Andrea Nicolle Salinas Godoy will join them in their many planned activities after her arrival on Friday, July 28th, alongside reigning Miss Costa Maya Gabriela Vanessa Salazar Valle.

In exactly six days, all eight ladies will be vying for the coveted title and crown of Reina de La Costa Maya on Thursday, August 3rd. There will be lots of entertainment and activities, and we invite you all to come and root for your favourite candidate!
