Innovative Biodigester Septic Tanks presented in Belize

Press Release – Embassy of Mexico to Belize – November 17, 2011.- SEPTI-K, a Mexican company from Merida, Yucatan, presented yesterday in Belmopan and today in Belize City their innovative biodigester tanks.
The biodigester septic tanks are a new technology to treat domestic water waste and to improve the way of its discharge to the environment in a practical and hygienic manner. This innovated technology has been revised by the Ministry of Health and the tanks have been authorized for its use in Belize.
The events were held at the Embassy in Belmopan and at the Institute of Mexico in Belize City. Mr. José Rogelio Pérez, General Director of the Mexican SEPTI-K presented the use and technical specifications of the biodigester tanks. The presentations were headed by the Ambassador of Mexico, Mario Velazquez.
Government officials, representatives of construction and tourism companies and hotels attended the presentations, along with engineers, architects, construction suppliers and members of private sector organizations.
