Dear Editor,
I am writing to thank the Town Council for 5 and a half days they have spent working on several blocks of Sea Grape Drive with numerous trucks of fill and hours of heavy equipment. I understand the Ministry of Works loaned the equipment to the Town Council so thanks to them also.
I would like to suggest that the residents of an improved Sea Grape Drive tour the DFC area so we can truly appreciate our good fortune. There are areas of the DFC where there are no roads, none at all. Residents walk into their homes through swampy areas filled with landfill trash.
I’m going to assume building permits were issued so folks could build in the DFC area. I’m also going to assume that approval of building permits is based on the existence of the proper infrastructure to support the safety and health of the residents. What shall I assume about the process the Town Council uses to approve a building permit application?
