We are writing on behalf of the VIP Team and the 1,236 concerned San Pedro residents who cast their votes in favor of the VIP and now form part of our membership. By virtue of this letter, we are hereby requesting that a copy of the Town Council Budget for 2015-2016 be made public. As stated in the Town Council Act Part VII sec 23(1): “the council shall, before the end of January, submit an estimate of revenue and expenditure for the next fiscal year.”
In compliance with the above-mentioned law, this disclosure must take effect immediately, since it should have already been made public before Election Day. Please be informed that we are submitting this letter to local and national media.
