All proceeds will go directly to SNIP and the ongoing care of the animals at the shelter. The Spay Neuter Initiative Program (SNIP) launched in 2013 aims to humanely reduce animal overpopulation on Ambergris Caye, by reducing unwanted litters of puppies and kittens. SAGA Animal Well Being Director Kathy Marin says, “It’s Hip To Snip” and hopes this year end cook off spectacular will bring in much needed funds to support Saga’s SNIP campaign. In 2013 alone, 639 spay neuter surgeries were performed and Marin wants that number to double in 2015. “We have accomplished so much in our first fifteen years thanks to our original founders and volunteers who give so much of themselves for our community. We are focused as an organization to do more for our community and our animals and children through education and awareness. Our mission to promote kindness and prevent cruelty is a priority, as the success of Operation SNIP on Ambergris Caye.”
All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the shelter, and the animals and community of Ambergris Caye. For reservations and question please contact Sandie Betz-Eisenberg at [email protected] or contact the shelter directly at [email protected] or 501-226-3266.
