NICH House of Culture Inaugurated-6“The project of establishing a House of Culture for the island took a lot of time and dedication and we are happy for the support of the various stakeholders who worked to fulfill the need. This will help us in protecting our island’s culture and history, which is very important to us,” said Paz.NICH House of Culture Inaugurated-4
With the House of Culture built, valuable pieces as well as permanent exhibits depicting the island’s history will have a home. “The role of NICH is to foster as well as to protect our history. In keeping with our mandate, we were able to fill the gap and accomplish the establishment of the facility. It will finally give San Pedro a home, where the island’s culture is concerned,” said Diane Haylock, President of NICH.NICH House of Culture Inaugurated-5
