J Boog, born Jerry Afemata, is on Ambergris Caye. The R & B and Reggae singer is scheduled to perform at the International Costa Maya festival on Friday August 8th. The singer arrived on the island with his backup crew shortly after 4PM on Maya Island Air.
“I am very happy to be in Belize and people can expect a lot of good vibes and energy. It is just great to be here and I can’t wait to meet all the fans and see what the festival is all about.
We are on an island and so I invite everyone to come out and have fun. I am happy for the invitation to be here and I’m also happy for the support from Belize,” commented J Boog to The San Pedro Sun.
J Boog is fresh off a musical tour in Hawaii and California, USA. He is well known for his Reggae hit “Let’s do it again.”
J Boog will be sharing the stage with Belize’s very own, The Garifuna Collective.
