On Saturday May 31st the Rafael Angel Nuñez Auditorium will be the place to be as the Miss San Pedro High Pageant takes place. The show kicks off at 7PM and tickets will be on sale at the gate. Tickets can be purchased in advance at $7 for General Admission and $10 for Reserved Seating, and they can be bought from students, teachers and board members of SPHS.
We got to know a bit more about the four lovely contestants, and here’s what they have to share:
Erica Bodden: I am 15-year-old Erica Bodden, currently attending San Pedro High School.I am from the class of 2C. My hobbies are playing basketball, swimming and socializing with others. I love meeting new people and learning of their different countries and their cultures. My future goal is to be an archeologist.
Sheila Chi: I am 16-year-old Sheila Chi. I am San Pedro High School student currently in the class of 2G. I enjoy dancing, reading books and giving a helping hand whenever in need. My future career is to become a pediatrician, helping all the children with all my efforts and as much as I can. I also want to grow into a positive role model for the society and the future generations of Belize.
Ezra Jailene Jacobs:I am Ezra Jailene Jacobs, I’m 14-years-old. I was born on the beautiful island of San Pedro on August 17, 1999. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. In my sparetime I love going to the beach, either with friends or alone. I am representing the class of 1K. My plans are to graduate from college and continue studying so I can be a successful journalist, as I love to read and write. Nothing in this world is hard, my mom always tells me this; “Where there’s a will there’s a way.”

Marisha Jamel Thomspon: A pleasant hello everyone. I am 14-year-old Marisha Jamel Thompson, born on 17th November 1999, and I am from the class of 2C. I enjoy singing, reading and dancing. My dream is to become an international female detective. I’ve had a wonderful experience since I’ve entered this pageant. I am inspired to continue in pageantry, and someday I hope to be Miss Costa Maya. I couldn’t have done this pageant without all my supporters, especially Castillo’s Hardware. My supporters include Wild Mango’s, La Divina Providencia, Mr. Angel Nunez, Victoria House, Royal Caribbean Villas, Black and White Entertainment and Cultural Center, Bella Italia, and LAG Security.
