On September 21, 1981, Belize gained its independence from British rule. Belizeans at home and abroad celebrate the 30th anniversary of this historic day, with both joy and a touch of sadness. The Father of the Nation, Rt. Hon. George Cadle Price passed away mere days before his beloved nation turned 30. But still, we celebrate his legacy, with honor, humility and joy. Long Live Rt. Hon. George Cadle Price, and LONG LIVE BELIZE!!!
