Queen’s University visits island schools

Based out of Canada, Queen’s University arrived on San Pedro Town as part of their six week program to educate students on various important topics.Some of the topics touched were Child Abuse, Healthy Relationships, Drug Abuse, and Puberty.

Financing is garnered by the students through donations and fundraising all year round. This is the first year the program has been held in San Pedro Town, New Horizons was yesterday and today was San Pedro Roman Catholic School.

Queen’s University students in no particular order: Jen Redwood, Lindsay Scott, Elizabeth Poon, Kasey Hemington and Mary Barber.
