San Pedro House of Culture hosts a Belizean Art Exhibition

The San Pedro House of Culture (SPHC) held an Art Exhibition on Friday, November 24th featuring pieces from local artists. The various paintings portrayed Belizeans beaches, forests, animals and even cultural scenes. Attendee’s feasted their eyes on authentic Belizean art pieces while enjoying delicious appetizers and refreshing drinks.
Six Belizean artists filled the SPHC display room with colorful, dramatic and bold masterpieces. The artist’s featured included, Edwardo “Papo” Alamilla, Alfredo Kinisha Trejo from San Pedro Town, Jeovan Chacon, Edgar Gomez, Stephanie Perez from Corozal Town, and Manuel Rosales from Cayo District.
All of the exhibit pieces are available for purchase, with values as low as $800 and as high as $5,000. “We hope that this exhibit showcases some of the many talented Belizeans artists,” said Director of the SPHC Mito Paz.

The SPHC thanks, everyone who joined them at the opening of the art exhibition. Anyone interesting in purchasing one of the art pieces that are on display can contact Paz at 650-6601. The exhibit is opened for viewing until Friday, December 1st, from 9AM to 5PM.
