Wolfe’s Woofer: Trivia

Dennis-Wolfe-Wolfes-Woofers“Where is Glenn tonight?” I asked Melody.
“I left him at home while I took Grayson and Davin out for ice cream.”
“Hey, why don’t you get Glenn to watch the kids for awhile and you and I can go play Trivia at the bar? We haven’t done that in a while.
Halfway through the first round of Trivia I said, “I’m hungry. I’m ordering a burger. Do you want one?”
“No. I’m still full of ice cream,” she said.
The burger was brought to me and I put mustard on it.
“What is the highest lake in the world?” the Trivia master asked.
“Lake Titicaca,” I told Melody.
“Are you sure? That sounds like a name you would make up.”
“Of course I’m sure. It’s a lake in Bolivia.”
“Lake Titicaca!” Melody sang out.
“I’m going to try one of these jalapeños,” I said. “I want to make sure it’s mild before I put it on my burger.”
I bit into and said, “W-a-a-a-h!” or something close to that. My throat was on fire and I couldn’t speak.
“Name two of Santa’s reindeer,” the Trivia master said.
“Here,” Melody said, as she handed me some water. “I’ve got this.”
“Rudolph and Olive,” she yelled.
“Rudolph is good,” the Trivia master said. “Who is Olive?”
“Oh, you know,” Melody said. Then she sang, “Rudolph the red nosed reindeer had a very shiny nose. And if you ever saw it you would even say it glows. Olive the other reindeer. . . .”
