…STRONG HIGH PRESSURE N OF THE CARIBBEAN WILL MAINTAIN A FRESH TO STRONG TRADE WINDS ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION THROUGH SATURDAY…WINDS WEAKEN SUN AND MON.
THE LOW LEVEL WINDSURGE IN THE CARIBBEAN COMBINED WITH A STRONG UPPER LEVEL SW’LY FLOW WILL BRING MORE MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY ACROSS COASTAL BELIZE THROUGH THE FORECAST PERIOD, WITH HIGHER CONCENTRATIONS ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
HENCE WE CAN EXPECT SHOWERY OUTBREAKS ALONG COASTAL AREAS AND THE SEA DURING THE MORNING HOURS AND OVER THE HILLY TERRAIN DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING ON WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. DAILY RAINFALL ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM 0.50-1.00 INCH DURING THIS PERIOD, ESPECAILLY ALONG THE COAST AND IN THE HILLY INTERIOR.
SHOWERS WILL INCREASE ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY WITH HIGHER, DAILY ACCUMULATIONS OF 1.50-1.75 INCHES.
