New flight and boat services offered in San Pedro

From airline flights to water taxis, there are various forms of transportation methods used in San Pedro. Now, San Pedro will be able to take advantage of a new boat ferry service, as well as Tropic Air’s new flight schedule that accommodates visitors arriving via international airlines.Tropic Air Airfare Rate Increase Fly Belize-1
In support of the new, early morning American Airlines flight that departs the Philip Golson International (PGIA) Airport airport at 7:30AM, Tropic Air announced on October 26th that they have added a 5:30AM flight from San Pedro to the airport. The new American Airlines flights will land in Miami, Florida, USA on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.
In addition, Tropic Air has also added late evening departures to San Pedro from PGIA to support the late arrivals of these flights that arrive on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Tropic Air will be also be supporting both Delta and American Airlines to and from Los Angeles, California, USA by departing at 6AM from San Pedro, Caye Caulker, Placencia, and Dangriga. In addition, a new San Pedro based water-taxi company, Isla Norte Ferry will be offering two daily runs from San Pedro to Sarteneja or Corozal Town starting on Friday, November 4th. At one point, the Thunderbolt was the only Sarteneja/Corozal based boat water taxi, but Isla Norte Ferry will be introducing a new time schedule that differs from Thunderbolt, to provide more convenience to travelers.
For a price of $50 one way or $90 roundtrip, the ferry will depart from the San Pedro Water Taxi terminal at 7:45AM, reaching Sarteneja at 9AM, and then arrive at the Corozal Municipal Pier at 9:30AM. The ferry will also offer trips back to San Pedro from Corozal, departing the municipal pier at 3PM, stopping in Sarteneja at 3:30PM, and then arriving in San Pedro by 4:50PM.
