The Christmas 8-Ball Pool Tournament has started with the participation of eight teams. Organized by Macadonio Sanches, the tournament’s first games were played on Friday, December 4th. Competing for a grand cash prize of $1,000 are teams AJ’s Shootaz, Un-expected, Iguanas, Sand Bar Ballers, Top Shatta, AJ’s Youth, Under Ground and Maldonado’s. Currently team AJ’s Shootaz are in the lead with 24 points, but team Un-expected is right at their tail with 20 points.
The next round of games are scheduled to take place from Friday, December 11th to Sunday, December 13th. The scheduled games are as follows: Friday December 11th at Cholo’s Sports Bar starting at 6PM – Top Shotta versus Un-expected, AJ’s youth versus Under Ground, Maldonado’s versus Iguanas and AJ’s Shootaz against Sand Bar Ballers. On Saturday December 12th, games are at AJ’s Bar and Grill starting at 6PM – Top Shotta versus Sand Bar Ballers, Un-expected versus Maldonado’s, Under Ground versus Iguanas, AJ’s Youths versus AJ’s Shoootaz. Then on Sunday December 13th, it’s Iguanas Bar at 1:30PM – Iguanas versus Un-expected, Under Ground versus AJ’s Shootaz, Sand Bar Ballers versus Maldonado’s, Top Shotta versus AJ’s Youth.
