San Pedro Under 20 Football Team goes to Finals

Share

On October 22, 2011, the San Pedro Under 20 Football Team played their last game in the season BDFA. Unfortunately we lost the game with a score of one to nil in favor of Admiral Complex. Our team is now scheduled to play a re-match with Admiral Complex, which will decide the U20 Championship. This game is scheduled for Saturday November 5th at the MCC Grounds in Belize City.

These young players have already experienced that in order to become a champion against a Belize City Team, they have to maintain focus on the game. Not the opposing team nor the match officials good or bad calls. We have to score ALL scoring opportunities.

We would like to take this opportunity to invite fans to come with us to the championship game so that together we can enjoy an exciting match and bring to San Pedro Town this U20 Championship Trophy.

We also take this opportunity, through your media, to extend much thanks to all who help us accomplish this moment. This week’s sponsors are: Tropic Air, Anchor QEA, Searious Adventures, Fidencio Cabanas, Bontito, Elito Arceo, Usbaldo Guzman, Chuck & Robbie, SPTC and The San Pedro Sun.

We are also taking this opportunity to extend a plea to the Business Community as well as San Pedro at large for your sponsorship for this upcoming game. We are in dire need of funding to cover travel expenses as these trips can be very costly. No donation is too small. Please contact me at 604-8015 for information on how to make your donations.
