The second week of the SPTC Football Tournament was held this past weekend. Friday September 9th saw Sugar Boys Juventus going up against Legends, which ended in a draw with a score of 1 to 1. On Saturday, September 10th, two games were played. In the first game, Underdogs defeated Joker with a score of 2 to 1. This was followed with a tight game which saw Boca Juniors tying with San Pedro Veterans with a score of 3 to 3.
On Sunday, games started sharply at 2pm, with Boca Juniors winning Castillo’s with a score of 3to 1. In the second game, San Pedro Veterans kicked the San Pedro U20 Football Team with a whopping score of 11to 0. The last game started around 6pm and saw Belizean Shores victorious over Caribbean Queen with 5 goals to zero.
The third week of competitions starts this Friday September 16th at 6pm at the Ambergris Stadium. Following is the schedule for this weekend’s games. Come on out and support our local talents. There are snacks and drinks on sale.
