Press Release – January 5th 2012 – Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, in collaboration with the University of Belize, The University of the West Indies Open Campus, and The National Institute of Culture and History (NICH), is pleased to host a lecture series from esteemed Professor and International Relations Expert, Dr. Victor Bulmer-Thomas and his wife, Mrs. Barbara Bulmer-Thomas. Dr. Thomas, Professor Emeritus of London University and former Director of the Royal Institute of Foreign Affairs, will be in Belize January 8th -13th, 2011. He and his wife will deliver two major public lectures on “Peter Wallace: Fact or Fiction” and “The Belize Economy since Independence”. These free public lectures will be held on January 10th, 2012 at the House of Culture, Belize City from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm and the George Price Centre, Belmopan from 7:00 pm- 9:00 pm.
