It’s a traditional event that brings out the crowd to get to know the Reina de La Costa Maya contestants, and Ramon’s Village once again pulled out the stops to host Noche San Pedrana in style. Under the glow of the beautiful blue moon and tiki torches, guests enjoyed cocktails and nibbles while Rompe Raja played some lively music to get the vibe going. Of course, the highlight of the evening was the presentation of the beauties in their Cultural Costumes!
Miss Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Panama were tasked with modeling a cultural dress from their country of origin. Judges in the audience assigned points to each contestant, and those points will be tallied on pageant night, August 6th. The audience was blown away by the beautiful handiwork on each costume, some flowing and elegant, others chic and form fitting, each depicting an integral part of the wearer’s culture.
Once the cultural display was over, the ladies slipped into outfits by designer Adrian Roca. Iconic Maruba Wear is the collaboration between Roca and Maruba Resort Jungle Spa. It certainly was a night to take in some fashion and beauty, and amped up the excitement for the upcoming pageant! Best of luck to each contestant!
