Camp Starfish provides speech and physical therapy to island children with disabilities

As part of the 2nd annual Ambergris Caye Camp Starfish activities, participants will also be benefiting from the assistance of speech and physical therapists. Volunteering their services are Speech-Language Pathology specialist Kimberlee Almon and Physical Therapy specialist Kaity Kobayashi. From Monday, August 3rd to the end of camp, Friday August 7th, the specialist have been visiting the homes of special needs children providing vital therapeutic care.
Camp Starfish organizers would like to extend big thanks to Tropic Air for providing the free airfare to specialists from Belize City to San Pedro Town. Special appreciation goes to Almon and Kobayshi for taking the time to visit the homes of children with disabilities and providing them with a service not commonly offered in San Pedro.
