It was another long Easter weekend on Ambergris Caye, and King of the Island Promotion’s Island Invasion did it again with their sixth installment of their annual Easter Madness. It all happened on Saturday, March 26th inside Fido’s Courtyard where hundreds of party lovers gathered for the highly anticipated Easter party of the year. The top DJs of Belize, along with feature performer and the first female DJ to join Island Invasion, Lady X from California USA, kept the massive crowd dancing until the wee hours of the night.
Keeping the festive atmosphere at its highest level with the best tunes in dancehall, hip-hop, soca, reggae and pop hits was an entourage of very talented Belizean DJ’s, including DJ Biggz of Air Invasion Sounds, DJ Jago, DJ Odyssey, Fyah Statah, and Evolution sounds.
The gates to the event opened shortly after 10PM, with ticket holders skipping the long line and gaining access to the dancing arena immediately.
Additionally, a good amount of people opted for the VIP option, which gave them a great view of the dance floor while still enjoying the great music. The VIP area not only gave attendees the privilege to have their own exclusive space, but they had their own reserved bar as well.
The party came alive when Lady X took her spot on the stage. The crowd was quite appreciative of the tracks she played- and Island Invasion’s vibe only got better as the night went on.
“I am extremely satisfied with how the event went,” she commented. “It was really amazing, and just like everyone, I did have a great time as well.”
Throughout the night, competitions and giveaways added to the fun, as lucky winners walked away with great prizes.
