Milo’s Center burglarized

Police on Ambergris Caye is asking the public’s assistance in solving a burglary case on the island. The incident occurred on Thursday January 30th at an establishment located on Pescador Drive belonging to well known Belizean businessman, Jose “Milo” Paz.
Milo's CenterAccording to San Pedro Town Police, sometime around 10:30AM on Thursday, Paz, visited the station to report that his business place was burglarized. Paz told police that on Wednesday January 29th, at about 5:50PM, he closed, secured and left his business place, Milo`s International (Milo’s Center). Sometime around 6:45AM the following day, he was informed that his establishment was burglarized and a number of items were stolen.

Initial investigation reveals that access to the building was gained through a hole was observed on the floor approximately two feet by one foot in size. The hole was made at the rear end of the building. An assortment of electronic items and furniture were missing, all to a total value of $3,000.00.

Police are investigating the matter, and anyone with information that can assist the police can call 206-2022.
