SPRCS students enjoy some cool treats

Share

There were big smiles on their faces as the students and staff from San Pedro Roman Catholic School (SPRCS) were treated to delicious paletas on Monday, November 9th. Courtesy of long time island visitors, Debby and Larry Heimgartner and Manelly’s Ice Cream Shop, over 1,000 popsicles (paletas) were handed out. The treats were definitely well received in this hot weather, as both students and teachers accepted them with much gratitude.Heimgartners Popsicle Paletas SPRCS-4
For years, the Heimgartners have distributed these tasty strawberry and chocolate treats to the students and staff of SPRCS as a form of appreciation towards the community for the support and hospitality that has been extended to them. “We are happy to be giving back to San Pedro and that the children are enjoying these treats,” said Larry. He also commented that when he first started, there were under 500 students and today, that number has doubled!

SPRCS would like to extend a big thanks to the Heimgartners and Manelly’s Ice Cream Shop for their generosity!
