Alicia Cisneros-Sanchez is currently in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. A young mother of two, Alicia has remained optimistic, but help was needed, and quickly. With the help of her amazing life-long friends, a fundraiser was quickly organized to help raise much-needed funds. Along with a barbecue sale held on Saturday, September 6th, a fashion show by Foreva Fancy was held at Wet Willy’s Cantina.
Foreva Fancy’s concept of a cancer survivor’s journey brought three stages to life using fashion and color: Diagnosis, The Fight and Remission/Awareness.
Alicia would like to thank everyone who has been helping during her time of need. To all those who spread the word, sold tickets, stood by her side and have been supporting her throughout her battle, a big THANK YOU.
