Foreva Fancy’s second Annual Exclusive Fashion Show was a night for High Street Fashion. 18 gorgeous models took to the runway at Kama Lounge on Saturday, October 19th, showcasing the latest in Fall/Winter fashion. Eager fashionistas made their way to Kama Lounge for a great show that commenced shortly after 8PM. With the pumping music of DJ DZL the show was ready to go.
Hosting the show was the ever fashionable media personality, Indira Craig. After formalities and introductions, the show which was decided into five segments got underway starting with Oxblood Obsession. Oxblood is the new trend in color for this fall/winter; it is a deep maroon, more closely resembling a rich red wine. From Burberry Prorsum to Jason Wu, Oxblood was a hit on the international winter fashion runways. This dark color was presented on stage in an equally dramatic manner, opening with the introduction of “The Witches of East End”. Beautiful models sashayed down the runway in a fusion of ensembles that ranged from elegant and casual, all showing the Oxblood Obsession trend.
The second segment of the show was called Walk the Line and it portrayed opposites colliding. In fashion, the use of black and white to contrast one another is on trend. The crowd was treated to a surprise dance performance by the models clad in black and white. The Damask Nude Story showed a more feminine look for winter; pairing nude colors with form fitting apparel to best showcase a women’s figure and allure.
The Royal Check Mate showcase portrayed a variety of styles win the ever elegant royal blue color. The final segment brought the fun side of style, with an emphasis on Rave Culture. The ravers’ trend has made a large impact internationally, with teen and young adults dressing in bright, neon colors to go clubbing. The Foreva Fancy models made a statement in fluffy legwarmers, colorful tutus, bright tops and neon lights. At the end, the girls presented a routine to Rihanna’s hit “Where have you been”.
Throughout the entire show, fabulous gift certificates were given away, and after the fashion show, guests were invited to the bar to enjoy cocktail and a fun Rave After Party. The show certainly brought a unique touch to fashion on La Isla Bonita, and fashionistas can shop for their favorite looks for the upcoming season. Foreva Fancy Boutique would like to thank the 18 models plus Kama Lounge, DJ DZL, The San Pedro Town Council, The San Pedro Police, Indira Craig, and everyone else that assisted with the show.
