Pinocchio’s Italian Restaurant opens for slow season

Guests lift a glass to toast the re-opening of Pinocchio's.Pinocchio’s Italian Restaurant underwent a few changes, especially in the management area, and after a few months of uncertainty, it seems it is back in the swing of things with new manager Hans Wagenhaus, and his hardworking staff.

Friday July 8th was the grand re-opening of the business, with a fabulous $20BZ all-you-can-eat buffet. After a heartfelt welcome by Hans, who explained his love for all things Italian, combined with his love for Belize, especially San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, it was time to partake of delicious nibbles.

There were several appetizers, salads, pastas and pizzas. At his suggestion, guests enjoyed the interactive decoration – every time a picture was taken, balloons were lifted to add a little flair/color to the photo. The entire meal lasted hours; guests enjoyed conversation, live Italian music (sung by Hans himself), and of course the food!

The $20BZ buffet also extends to Saturday, July 9th. Management is hoping to include this special at least once a week during slow season. In the meantime, be sure to check out Pinocchio’s when looking for yummy pastas, pizzas and other Italian delicacies. They are located on Seagrape Drive.
