The San Pedro Sun and the entire community congratulates Ms. Jennifer Chiong, Guatemala, the new Reina de la Costa Maya Internacional, 2008-2009!

Miss Guatemala, 25-year-old Jennifer Chiong won the hearts and votes of the judges in this year’s La Reina del La Costa Maya Pageant 2008 with her poise, beauty, and grace. A full house turned up at the Old Football Field in anticipation of a great evening filled with entertainment, cultural exchange, food and all out fun. Masters of Ceremonies were Senator Eiden Salazar alongside Gloria Alejandra Lopez, a representative from TV Azteca Cancun. Let The Sun take you back and rewind the best moments of the La Reina de La Costa Maya Pageant 2008! ENJOY!

Miss Panama, representing the God of Seduction.

Miss Nicaragua

Miss Mexico respresented her natal soil.

Miss Honduras won Best National Costume with her depiction of the marine life.

Miss El Salvador represented the Sun God.
