Hosts 4th Annual National Competitiveness Month under the theme: Facing Challenges and Forging Resilience through Diversification and Competitiveness

The Belize Trade and Investment Development Service (BELTRAIDE), the Statutory Body under the Ministry of Finance, Economic Development & Investment announces the opening of the 4th Annual National Competitiveness Month under the theme: Facing Challenges and Forging Resilience through Business Diversification and Competitiveness. The official launch was held on May 3rd at 3:00PM live via the BELTRAIDE Facebook page.
National Competitiveness Month is a month-long series of activities that aim to strengthen competitiveness in the private sector through the enabling environment created by the government. The year’s activities centers around discussions with industry stakeholders and the public on how to remain resilient despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic through the creation of diverse business ideas and penetration of new and emerging sectors.
The month will also feature a digital marketing training, ProNet Workshop for Exporters, Elevator Pitching for business and job applicants and will culminate with a Virtual Career Day with over 15 different companies seeking to fill over 200 job vacancies.
BELTRAIDE continues to collaborate with our partners such as Caribbean Export Development Agency (CEDA), Compete Caribbean, CENPROMYPE, and other public and private sector partners to ensure that we continue to promote growth and strengthen economic development by enabling a vibrant MSME sector.
